Aileen is originally from Glasgow, but is now based in Brighton on the South Coast. As a child Aileen found every excuse to design, creating a catalogue of illustrated short stories, collages, posters, and magazine series covering all her interests.

Aileen graduated from the University of Winchester in 2019, with a 1st Class Honours degree in Marketing. She chose to specialise in branding design, and discovered a love for creating visual identities.

After graduation, Aileen began working as a Content Specialist within the aviation industry, designing posters, publications, and websites for a range of audiences. She has also worked on industry events, designing exhibition stands, merchandise, in addition to all marketing materials and literature.

The next step in Aileen’s journey is completing her MA in Graphic Design, with Falmouth University online. This journal follows Aileen’s progress through her studies and documents her thoughts and reflections along the way.
